Advantage has almost been in existence for one year and here at the Advantage team, we wanted to show what impact Advantage has had:

• We’ve helped to improve KHT’s performance on gas safety. That means that we’ve been able to get into properties and conduct the annual gas safety check.
• We wanted more tenants to pay their rent by direct debit. We managed to increase this figure by offering a £10 incentive.
• We’ve helped to increase the number of young people volunteering through Dream Schemes
• Reduction in tenants shopping bills thanks to the Advantage Discount Card
• Help sustain local businesses through the discount card
• Creation of 90 jobs which are available to KHT tenants
• Provision of 150 training places which are available to KHT tenants
• Creation of 24 apprenticeships which are available to KHT tenants
• Free energy audits potential to save £90k per annum for tenants
• Savings of 150k in loan charges via Credit Unions
• Play equipment in 3 parks
• Development of community café’s and jobs
• Pre School learning improve literacy
• 47k extra benefits claimed through Welfare Benefits advisors
• Commited over £735k back to the borough of Knowsley
