My name is Barbara White and I am a Tenant Board Member for Knowsley Housing Trust and the Advantage Champion. It gives me great pleasure to tell you about YOUR Advantage Scheme.

Advantage is a fantastic package of support and benefits for YOU.

Advantage launched in April 2009 to over 13,000 KHT tenants in Knowsley. Since we launched Advantage has helped to make a real difference to you and your community, including:

• Awarding 50 tenants with some great prizes
• Provided 200 young people in Knowsley volunteering opportunities
• Invested over £800,000 in Knowsley through Advantage Funding
• Provided tenants with free college courses in DIY, First Aid and IT Skills
• Created over 150 training places in Knowsley which have been available ot you
• Supported Credit Unions to help you save over £190,000 in loan charges
• Helped create over 90 jobs which have been available to you
• Provided new services gardening, cleaning, recycling, Veggie Van and community cafe
